MODIS band 6, or LSWI, at 250m resolution?

Hello,

I'm seeking to calculate land surface water index (LSWI) to use alongside the M*D13Q1.061 250m EVI values. LSWI is calculated as (NIR - SWIR) / (NIR + SWIR); in terms of MODIS bands: (band 2 - band 6) / (band 2 + band 6).

I can get 250m band 1, 2, 3, and 7 values from M*D13Q1.061, but I'm only finding band 6 at 500m and lower resolution from the likes of M*D13A1 and M*D13A2.

Is MODIS band 6 (or a LSWI product) available at 250m spatial resolution?

Thanks!
Tim

Hi Tim,
Unfortunately I am not aware of any entity that has resampled the 500 meter data to 250. MODIS Bands 1 and 2 are the only 250 meter bands and bands 3-7 are 500 and 8-36 are 1000 meters. WIsh I could be of more help.
Thanks,
Brett
