There must be cleaner and pollution free atmosphere comparison to before pandemic. May I know how was the rate before and now to have clear view.
Thank you

There appear to have been changes in air quality parameters related to the pandemic and changes in economic and social activity. One article about this from our NASA data archive is available here:

MOPITT (Measurement of Pollution in the Troposphere) instrument onboard NASA's
Terra satellite measures Carbon Monoxide (CO), which is a measure of CO (typically produced by fossil fuel and biomass burning). These data products are available for download from the Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) through OPeNDAP. For smaller spatial/temporal regions, you may use ASDC's MOPITT subsetter to create subsets with user specified geographical region, time period, and measured variables.
OPeNDAP:

Another article use Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) as an indicator to study the impact of COVID-19 on pollution and industrial activity:

NO2 data is measured by OMI instrument (NASA's
Aura satellite) and TROPOMI instrument (onboard ESA’s
Sentinel-5 satellite).
