Hi, I've downloaded a list of files from GES DISC Subsetter. I'm attempting to retrieve them using R bowerbird on a university server. The links give the following error both on the server and on my browser:
Sorry, OMI-Aura_L3-OMSO2e_2004m1001_v003-2020m1015t150408.he5.SUB.nc4 is not available for downloading

Yesterday I had attempted downloading L2 files by mistake with a different list and it worked with the following test link, but now this link is broken too.

I'm also having the same issue with NLDAS Primary Forcing Data L4 Hourly 0.125 x 0.125 degree V002 (requested as job ID: 6622926ab7f8a7ba57f3b00f), though similar requests for MERRA-2 hourly data are downloadable and look fine.

I downloaded the list of links for GLDAS daily meteorological data (V 2.0). After creating the download link list as provided below, when I want to download these files I face to this error:

I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this problem.

It looks like you are using the GES DISC subsetter tool to download GLDAS data for a specific area, time and selected variables. However, the link you provided shows ".tif" as the file format you are trying to download. If that is your intention, you can only select one variable for download at a time using GeoTIFF file format. If you choose netCDF as a file format, you can download data choosing multiple variables at a time. Let us know if this answers your question and get back to us if you need any additional help.

I am also experiencing an error of "oc_open: server error retrieving url: code=0 message="not an available dataset" when trying to get a subset of wind data using xarray in python. I had used the very same code, with the same subest, and used to work until yesterday afternoon, downloading the data, but it suddenly stopped with the above error message. I would appreciate your help.

Again, the code used to work perfectly for the first two days, but suddenly stopped working and instead gives the error message.

The NLDAS Version 002 (GRIB-1) files are no longer being updated from the GES DISC archive and distribution system and have been removed completely. Please use Version 2.0 which is the same data but in netCDF file format here: https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets/NLDAS_FORA0125_H_2.0/summary
