Hi,
There have been a lot of delays in products updates since passing to collection 2 in June.
Even when updates are loaded, they have been incomplete with tiles missing.
It's the case for example with the latest update (June 17 image) from last Thursday.
I did not check for all, but at least tiles h09v04, h12v10, h14v11, h19v08 are missing for VJ113A1, and h10v08, h11v10, h12v10, h13v12, h18v08, h25v07 for VNP13A1 for the June 17 image.

Is there a reason why the delays and incomplete updates and should we expect the problem to stay?

I saw that we can access the data directly on the Amazon bucket. Are the updates timely and complete on that channel?

We checked and for the VNP13A1 and VJ113A1 for June 17, 2024 the tiles you asked about are all available. Full suite of products were generated on July 3, 2024.
The VI (VNP13A1/VJ113A1) is a 16-day product, so the outputs are not created until 16-days (give or take a little) from the start time of the product. As in this case, the June 17, 2024 output used inputs from June 17 through July 3, 2024, with the data becoming fully available on July 3, and therefore the VI running on that day.

However, if you go on https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/ and look for tile h09v04 for product VJ113A1 (for example), you will see that the last image available is for the period 06-09 to 06-24.
Not all the tiles are available to the user for download.
Can you please check again and revert on why the updates are incomplete? It would be great if the cause were found out.
