SeaDAS Reprojection OCI data

by rodbager3579 » Thu Sep 26, 2024 2:40 pm America/New_York

Hello

I have a doubt, I realized l2gen processing for rhos, are the generated products georeferenced?
I tried to run the reprojection tool on my l2 data, generated with l2gen, and it gives me this error

I have my doubts about if the l2 data are projected, since I think it has a distortion. Compared to the l1b data to which I used the reprojection tool.

How could I fix it?

I really appreciate your response and help.

I can not speak about the error message, but the reprojection looks correct. L1B and L2 products are geolocated, but the lines and pixels are as the satellite saw them. The distortion you see is "most likely" due to OCI tilting in the bottom of your image. You can also notice the glint in the tilt region which is why OCI tilts.
