Dear PO.DAAC Support Team,
I am currently working on a research project that requires access to the calibrated hydrology data from the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission, specifically for the period between April and July 2023.
Could you please provide an update on when the fully validated hydrology data for this time frame will be available? I understand that some “Beta Pre-Validated” data have been released, but I need the fully validated data for my research.
Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Amir Kardan

Hi Amir,
As of June 2024, SWOT data has officially been validated by the science team. You can find validated data for your time period in version C of the data. For example, the SWOT_L2_HR_RiverSP_2.0 collection shortname has data in your timeframe: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C2799438299-POCLOUD&pg[0][v]=f&pg[0][qt]=2023-04-01T00%3A00%3A00.000Z%2C2023-07-31T23%3A59%3A59.999Z&pg[0][gsk]=start_date&g=G3027422844-POCLOUD&q=swot%20l2%202.0&tl=1727975426!3!!
Note: a new version D of the reprocessed products will likely be available in early 2025.
