Hydrocron Time Series API for SWOT Hydrology Data Products Now Available

The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the general availability of Hydrocron - an API for time series retrievals of hydrology data products from the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission.

Hydrocron currently supports queries for:

• individual river reaches and nodes found in the SWOT_L2_HR_RiverSP_2.0 collection, using the well-known feature identifiers from the SWOT River Database (SWORD)
• individual prior lakes* found in the SWOT_L2_HR_LakesSP_2.0 collection using the well-known feature identifiers from the SWOT Prior Lakes Database (PLD) .

Time series observations are returned in either GeoJSON or CSV format, and users can specify which fields of interest to ….
