May I ask where I can find direct observations of aerosol and ocean properties through 2024? Thank you.

I'm not sure what type of data you are seeking; the GES DISC (
https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/) has a large variety of aerosol data products, including aerosol data over the oceans. The MERRA-2 data collection has some ocean-related variables, including sea salt.
