In the currently released CALIPSO products of Lidar Level 3 Stratospheric Aerosol Profile Monthly Product, there are only three types of aerosols: dust, polluted dust, and elevated smoke. I would like to obtain data on other aerosols(clean continental, marine,dusty marine, polluted continental/smoke). Can you provide assistance?

The CALIPSO Lidar Level 2 5 km Merged Layer product was one of the CALIOP data used to build the CALIPSO Lidar Level 3 Stratospheric Aerosol Profile data product which also includes the types of aerosols you listed.

Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry for misunderstanding my meaning. I was looking to obtain the CALIPSO L3 monthly product containing clean continental, marine,dusty marine, polluted continental/smoke, or can you provide the codes for processing a L2 products into L3 monthly product?

The CALIPSO Lidar Level 3 Tropospheric Aerosol Profiles, All Sky, Standard V4-21 Data Product has parameters that contain the aerosol types that you have listed, which include:

• Aerosol_Type

• Initial Aerosol Lidar Ratio 532

• Initial Aerosol Lidar Ratio Uncertainty 532

Thank you very much for your reply. I have checked again and I would like to obtain the monthly extinction coefficient of "clean continental, marine,dusty marine, polluted continental/smoke", but the L3 product only contains the extinction coefficient of dust, polluted dust, and elevated smoke:

Hello,

A member of the CALIPSO science team has stated that the last version of the troposhperic product is planned to contain extinction coefficients for all aerosol subtypes. The official release of this product will be summer of next year. There is also no publicly available code.
