GRACE/-FO Baseline time removed
I am analyzing using Level-3 TWS data from different analysis centers of GRACE satellite. Data: TELLUS GRACE-FO Level-3 Monthly Land Water-Equivalent-Thickness Surface Mass Anomaly Release 6.3 version 04. In addition, I am also using COST-G Level-3 TWS data. The baseline times used when calculating anomalies in the data are different. For this reason, while performing the analysis, the 2005-2010 baseline time of GFZ, JPL and CSR Level-3 TWS data was removed, while the 2002-2020 baseline time was removed in COST-G Level-3 TWS data. For this reason, I am curious about whether I should analyze all 4 data within the same baseline time? If so, how will I do this and how will I determine the time period?

Re: GRACE/-FO Baseline time removed
Hi,
Dean here from PO.DAAC, where the data are hosted. I think you've already reached out to Felix Landerer who would be the expert in this area (and the data producer for GRACE-FO). From chatting with him, yes you need to subtract a common baseline time and the specific baseline you choose shouldn't matter. For technical details on how to do that, I suggest reaching out to Felix again or looking through the literature.
Thanks,
- Dean
