The HiTIDE tool for downloading SWOT data seems to sometimes bring in a much broader time range than selected when actually downloading. It seems to happen when larger areas are selected.

As an example, for this search: This search returns 125 granules, all of which are within the date range above. However, when I add all granules to download and use the "Merge Granules" option, the files that are created to download are:
The files appear to cover a wider date range from July 26 2023 to Jan 01 2025, well outside the selected granule range. The time field in the downloaded data indeed agrees with this - i.e. much more data than intended is being included in the download.

Note that this does not always happen. In other examples, the downloads returned the expected date range of data.

Sorry for the delayed response! I apologize for that. I checked into this and I know the problem. You used the "ADD MATCHING XXX GRANULES TO DOWNLOADS" right? Well that button currently doesn't work properly. What it actually does is download ALL granules, and I know you don't want that. So what you should do instead is just manually download the granules with the list. To do that, first click the first granule to select it. Then scroll all the way down to the last granule in the list and hold the SHIFT key and then click the last granule. That should select all the granules. Then do a right-click and use the menu and click the "Add selected granules to DOWNLOADS". That should select only the ones that you want, the 125 granules, and add them to the downloads list.
