Potential issue: Identical shots appearing in multiple sub-orbit granules with different shot_ids

Dear GEDI Team,
I wanted to report a potential issue while working with the GEDI data. It appears that identical shots are stored in two sub-orbit granules but assigned different shot_ids.
For example, when comparing granules O10587_03 and O10587_04, I found that the same shots are present in both granules despite having different shot_ids. I’m not sure if this behaviour is expected or if it might indicate a bug in the data processing pipeline, but I thought it would be worth flagging here.
I’ve attached an overview illustrating this issue, highlighting the identical shots found across both sub-orbit granules.
Looking forward to your insights on this.
Cheers,
Simon.
