MERRA-2 FAQ: MERRA-2 has multiple processing streams, what are the transition dates?

MERRA-2 was run in four production streams. Each of the streams covers an approximately 10-year period. The fourth stream begins on 1 January 2011. Note that the filename prefix was changed if a data file was reprocessed. Click HERE to view the records of MERRA-2 reprocessed data and how the filename is changed.
