Need Land Cover Information for Arizona from 1996 till 2023

Hi,
I am doing research about Dust Storms in Arizona from 1996 to 2023. The process is to build a model using Land Cover information.
My understanding is that the ORNL DAAC library has that information. Please see the links below:
https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets/LANDMET_ANC_ST_1/summary
And
https://daac.ornl.gov/ISLSCP_II/guides/edc_landcover_xdeg.html
The problem is that the Temporal Coverage is from 1998-01-01 to 2007-12-31, which does not cover all the data that I need (from 1996 to 2023)
Is there another dataset that I can use that has the Land Cover information (i.e. Water Bodies, Evergreen Broadleaf Trees, Bare Soil, Agriculture land, Wetland, etc) for the period of 1996 till 2023 for Arizona?
Thank you in advance for your help.

The Land Processes DAAC (LPDAAC) should have several products of this type from both MODIS and Landsat. I have added their tag to your post.
Also, data from the GEDI mission is available from both the LPDAAC (at lower processing levels) and ORNL DAAc (at higher processing levels), which may also be of use for your research.

Though not directly providing land cover data, the
GEDI data products, including the L3 and L4 published by the ORNL DAAC, provide information that may help with your research.

Hello,
The LP DAAC has the MODIS MCD12Q1 Landcover data set:
https://doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MCD12Q1.061
The original MODIS sensor went up in December of 1999 and the first data was acquired in February of 2000, so unfortunately, the yearly product does not have data prior to 2001. Currently, it has data from 2001 through 2023. Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
LP DAAC

Hello
@soheil.bouzari You might also be interested in the newly updated / released Annual NLCD data. You can find more information about that data here:

Thank you, @LP DAAC - dgolon for your response. The Annual NLCD data looks exactly like what I am looking for.
I have coordinates for 657 locations and need their Land Cover data for different years. Is there a way to automate that data retrieval instead of individually downloading them?

Hello
@soheil.bouzari Glad to hear it! You can access these data via the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) API.
https://m2m.cr.usgs.gov/
You will need to create an ERS account if you do not already have one:
https://ers.cr.usgs.gov/register and then request access to use the M2M API using the "Access Request" button once you are logged into your ERS account. If you need any assistance using the M2M API please email
custserv@usgs.gov. We have created a few tutorials to help work with the M2M API that you might be interested in looking at first:

Thanks! -- Danielle
