Soil Carbon Measurement

by seths4es » Mon Dec 07, 2020 2:31 pm America/New_York

Hello,

I am looking to quantify soil carbon for a given area. The goal is to set a baseline carbon quantity and then measure the changes annually on and given piece of ground.

I am new to EarthData and am swimming in acronyms, data display tools and types.

Any Help pointing me to where I can use NASA data to accomplish the goal is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

We apologize for the slow response to your question. Our response was delayed because none of the NASA DAACs archives soil carbon data. However, the NASA Carbon Monitoring System (CMS) does have some soil carbon datasets. Go to the following page and search with the word "soil" in the browser text search box.
