Since approximately 12:45 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT) Sunday, June 1, 2025, all LP DAAC ingest into the Common Metadata Repository (CMR) for both on-premises and cloud archives has stopped. This affects all new LP DAAC data going into NASA's Earthdata Search.

The LP DAAC is working diligently to resolve the issue and will provide updated information as it becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We are currently experiencing a data outage that began at approximately 12:45 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) Sunday, June 1, 2025 and impacts all Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC) ingest into the Common Metadata Repository (CMR) for all data ingested into the cloud archive. Intermittent data ingest has occurred during this time, however, the LP DAAC is currently troubleshooting the outage and will post an update when more information becomes available. This outage affects all new data flowing into NASA's Earthdata Search.
