Advice on GCMD Keyword(s) already in use

Hello GCMD Folks,
The ORNL DAAC will need to request a GCMD Instrument and Project Keyword for the Portable Remote Imaging SpectroMeter (PRISM) airborne Facility Instrument. `PRISM` already exists in GCMD as both a Project and Instrument, but not for the Portable Remote Imaging SpectroMeter (PRISM). Is there a process or any early advice on how to handle this?

Thank you for the keyword request. There already is an Instrument keyword for the ‘Portable Remote Imaging SpectroMeter (PRISM)’. See the keyword at https://gcmd.earthdata.nasa.gov/KeywordViewer/scheme/all/25bd25fe-6ee4-4baf-aa86-465882fdd0c2?gtm_keyword=PRISM&gtm_scheme=instruments. Are you requesting something different? You can request PRISM as a project keyword as long as it has a different long name, but I would consider adding some distinction to the short name to differentiate it from the other project keyword. What would the long name of the project be?

In the GCMD Keyword Viewer, this is the PRISM Instrument reference to which I was referring. I see now that `PRISM > Portable Remote Imaging Spectrometer` is under In Situ/Lab Instruments. Not sure that's the right place? But yes, that is the one to which I refer. We might put a request in to update that hierarchy.

As far as a PRISM Project, I will get a request in and include content for the distinction of the current PRISM Project including your request for information on the long name.
