Harmony spatial subsetter does not work

I cannot get any ocean color level-2 files using Earthdata Search when I include subsetting with Harmony (and the PODAAC L2 Cloud Subsetter).
Progress runs until 99%, then waits for a while and results in failed order. When I skip Harmony, it works fine.
I uninstalled Earthdata downloader 1.04 and installed version 1.06 but it did not make a difference.
It is interesting that the same worked about a month ago (June/17) when I was able get *subsetted.nc4 files.
Any suggestions what to do? Thanks.

Hello, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Earthdata downloader tool, especially because I've been having good results using it. One thing to try is clearing browser cache and trying to obtain your files again. Let me know if this helps. In the meantime, I'll reach out to the development team see if there are other recommendations.
Out of curiosity, can you share what files you are trying to subset? I'd like to also make sure there are no limiting factor with your datasets.

Thanks for looking into it. I cleaned the browser cash but it did not help. I have now tried it on 4 different Windows machines (Win10, Win11, Win Server) with the same failing result. I can subset all SST (11 um) level-2 data from 4 different sensors (2xMODIS, 2xVIIRS) with no problems but none from any ocean color level-2 from those. Full data download works fine but when I select Customize with Harmony and then the only option of PODAAC Subsetter, progress becomes very slow and finally fails. It's interesting that it has worked in the past (several months ago).

Hi @mkahru The Harmony team is looking further into this. We will follow up when we have more details.
