SeaDAS 9.2.0 Spectral View

Hi,

I'd like to dynamically see S2B/MSI Rrs spectral changes across valid pixels using the Spectral View function included in SeaDAS 9.2.0. Since variables in my input file (a processed S2B/MSI L2 Rrs at 6 bands included in the original h5 file) are not initially grouped, I did that so by adding "Rrs*" in the File Manager following previous posts. All the Rrs have been located below "Rrs*" (attached). A pin is placed in a valid pixel.

Now in the Spectral View, it says "No product selected"; the "Available Spectral" window shows nothing (attached). I've generated one column text file including Rrs_xxx in 6 rows but with no success (a similar file is seen by loading a PACE/OCI data).

How can I solve this issue?

Atsushi

You probably need to click the filter like icon to open the Spectrum Chooser to pick the bands to be displayed in your Spectrum View.

BTW, you can also add Rrs to the band Grouping by double click the file name in File Manager

choose "properties"

and add Rrs to Band Grouping

The Spectral Chooser of the Spectral View does not show any variables, despite the fact that all the Rrs are grouped into the folder named Rrs following the post (see the attached screenshot). This is the issue that I'm facing at. The Spectral Chooser works great for L3 PACE OCI data, but not for a newly processed L2 data where variables are not initially grouped. Please advise. Atsushi

It doesn't look like your Spectral Wavelength has been defined for each of the Rrs bands. If you right-click on any of the Rrs bands then select 'Properties', you want to make sure this has been set ... or you can manually set it.

For supported files such as OB.DAAC processed files, SeaDAS has readers which understand the file structure, and metadata and can autofill in this field when the file is loaded. Otherwise, these fields would need to be filled in manually.
