The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) has released data for the Pacific Exploratory Missions (PEM). Part of the Global Tropospheric Experiment (GTE), PEM intended to improve the scientific understanding of human influence on tropospheric chemistry. PEM was split into two campaigns, PEM-West, and PEM-Tropics. PEM west was the first of the two with two deployments, the first of which being from September-October 1991, and the second from February-March 1994. PEM-Tropics also had two deployments, the first from August-September 1996, and the second from March-April 1999. Both PEM-West and PEM-Tropics took place predominately over the Pacific region.
