Rose, fan dichiarato dei Nirvana, chiese loro di suonare con i Guns durante lo [[Use Your Illusion Tour]]. Tuttavia il frontman [[Kurt Cobain]], che detestava i Guns N' Roses (come documentato dalla biografia ''Come As You Are'', di Michael Azerrad), declinò l’invito.
