Start menu not taking any input from keyboard.

I am unable to search anything in the start menu on my windows 11 laptop. I have rebooted, restarted search service multiple times.

My windows version: 24H2 (OS Build 26200.5622)

I am on the insider build on dev channel (I want to go out of insider build or at least to Beta Channel, but don't know how without reinstalling windows).

My latest update is failing with below update:

Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26200.5651) (KB5060818)
Install error - 0x80070005

Unable to type here (but in all other apps it works just fine):

Earlier I used to press Windows + S, to directly open search and type there, but that key combo is not working, only pressing windows key has some effect, which is opening above menu as shown, but unabel to type anything there.

I have the same question, and I cannot open search and touch keyboard, nothing happenning.
When I'm typing Chinese, the candidate phrase box doesn't show up.
For the start menu, when I press E, it selects Edge with a box, and Word when I press W. When I press space, it opens the secelted app.

There is an error in the event viewer I think may have something to do with the problem.
I'm in Beta, 26120.4441. All the updates have been installed successfully.

Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 24H2
Installed on ‎2/‎1/‎2025
OS build 26120.4230

Also, I can't get the Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26120.4441 to successfully install.

I am on the beta channel and I have the same issues. At least it's a known issue (see https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2025/06/13/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-26120-4441-beta-channel/).

As for switching channels, sometimes, the same build is flighted to both the beta and dev channels like it happened a few months earlier (see https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2025/01/31/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-26120-3073-dev-and-beta-channels/) and that is the time when you can switch channels without needing to reinstall.

Thank you @Sayak Mukhopadhyay . I am having the same issue with beta and cannot get the Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview to load 10.0.26120.4441.

I updated my windows to Dev channel and everything back to normal.
