Group Rules

Texas.gov is the official website for the State of Texas. Use this Flickr pool to upload photos highlighting Texas culture or landscape.

By submitting photos to the group pool, you agree that Texas.gov has a right to use any photos you upload to this pool for use on the Texas.gov homepage, website, mobile site, and social media platforms.

In addition, by submitting photos to the Texas.gov pool, you are demonstrating that you have the right to use the photos. Texas.gov does not claim ownership or responsibility for photos uploaded to the Texas.gov pool by Flickr users except for those uploaded by Texas.gov administrators.


To upload a photo to the Texas.gov Flickr pool, follow these guidelines:

- Include the date the photo was taken for each photo submission.
- Title each photo submission with a brief, descriptive title (example : Texas
Bluebonnets)
- Suggested photo dimensions are 240 (width) X 180 (height)
- All photos must be geotagged. Geotags should be made public with their ___location in Texas.

(Simply, click the "Place this photo on a map" link on the photo's page or use the
Organize tool to place your images on the map.)

- Refrain from adding borders or other design elements to your photos
- A maximum of 3 photos may be submitted per day
- Photos must be related to Texas culture and landscape.
- Personal photos will not be accepted
- Your flickr account safety level must be safe to join this group.See below
