Joseph Placke, tecnico radiotrasmettitore presso [[84 Avenue Foch]] (quartier generale parigino del [[Sicherheitsdienst]]), impersonava Pickersgill, mentre la radio e i codici sottratti a MacAlister furono impiegati per trasmettere falsi messaggi a [[64 Baker Street]] (quartier generale londinese SOE), con cui si organizzavano aviolanci di materiali, ovviamente sempre ghermiti dai tedeschi. La finta attività SOE continuò sino a maggio 1944 e fruttò la cattura di un istruttore di sabotaggio ed altri sei agenti mandati a far parte del network.
