: Più che sulla quantizzazione dei livelli energetici dell'atomo io porrei l'accento sulla dualità onda-particella, inoltre aggiungerei qualche dettaglio storico (i.e. almeno citare Schrodinger, Heisenberg, von Neumann e Dirac). Poi ci starebbe bene un'intera sezione storica sullo sviluppo della teoria con gli esperimenti principali come diceva Gianluca. Inoltre sarebbe bello se qualche esperto in materia aggiungesse una sezione sulla formulazione algebrica della MQ, che, come avevo già scritto in passato, trovo dia una motivazione più razionale della solita agli assiomi sugli stati che fanno parte di uno spazio di hilbert, etc. Il problema è che per dare una spiegazione chiara senza scendere in tecnicismi inutili serve qualcuno che abbia un quadro molto chiaro dela faccenda... o trovare qualcosa di già scritto ([[User talk:Skyhc|msg]]) --[[Utente:Skyhc|sky]] 13:49, 5 apr 2008 (CEST)

::Citando Greene riguardo l'esperimento della double slit (che esemplifica appunto la dualità onda particella) "Feynman was fond of saying that all of quantum mechanics can be gleaned from carefully thinking through the implications of this single experiment". Non so, secondo me bisognerebbe cominciare dal fatto che le particelle "non si possono più considerare delle particelle", che è il vero punto di rottura con la meccanica classica, poi che se la funzione d'onda è localizzata possiamo parlare di quanti o che i livelli energetici dell'atomo sono discreti lo vedo come una conseguenza secondaria. Sì, hai fatto centro! Il fatto è che la mi idea di mettere il ''quantum'' al centro della definizione si basa sul fatto che Planck, nei suoi esperimenti sulla radiazione di corpo nero, si è trovato a dover spiegare come mai "oggetti" che fino ad allora erano decritti da funzioni d'onda ora si presentassero con il comportamento opposto, cioè quantizzati. L'ipotesi di de Broglie ci ha dato una prima risposta, ma la vera rivoluzione è avvenuta, mi pare, con la scoperta delle orbite quantizzate per gli atomi: da quel momento, anche particelle corpuscolari, come gli elettroni, si sono descritte anche con funzioni d'onda. Sarebbe il caso di includere entrambi i comportamenti, lasciando ad una eventuale cronologia il compito di spiegare dettagliatamente cosa è successo. Forse l'esperimento della doppia fenditura è troppo fondamentale per presentarlo ''ex abrupto'' dall'incipit (meglio demandare all'apposita pagina)... si rischia l'idiosincrasia da parte di chi legge. Anche per uno pratico nel settore sarebbe un'indigestione di informazioni: meglio essere chiari, perché la MQ si presta troppo a facili conclusioni filosofiche da parte dei profani, che finiscono per distoglierci tutti quanti dal suo vero significato, puramente scientifico. Premesso che, secondo me, la voce necessita di una profonda revisione, penso che sarebbe bene mettere subito sotto l'incipit una sezione storica dove si spieghi per bene la differenza fra la meccanica quantistica di Plank e De Broglie con la meccanica quantistica ''moderna''. Secondo me questo aiuterebbe ad introdurre i concetti in modo relativamente indolore per chi non conosce la materia e farebbe piazza pulita di grossa parte dei fraintendimenti tipici che vengono fuori quando si parla di ''robe quantistiche''. --[[Utente:Berto|J]] [[Discussioni utente:Berto|B]] 13:58, 7 apr 2008 (CEST)

::Ok, rischio di andare off-topic... Perché i fisici della materia non esisterebbero se ci si dovesse basare solo sulla MQ? Tutta la fisica dei cristalli, dei semiconduttori, dei laser ecc ecc si basa pesantemente sulla MQ (anche se, a volte, vengono usati approcci semiclassici per semplificarsi la vita). Sulla corrispondenza fra MQ e fisica classica cosa intendi? Che io sappia non è ancora ben chiaro il meccanismo per cui gli effetti quantistici vanno persi nel mondo macroscopico (credo che le due teorie più gettonate siano quella della eigenselection e quella della granularità della misura) ma le scale di lunghezza dove, ad esempio, una particella deve essere trattata quantistiocamente e dove invece è classica sono ben note e confermate da mille esperimenti. --[[Utente:Berto|J]] [[Discussioni utente:Berto|B]] 09:31, 10 apr 2008 (CEST)
