La compagnia inaugurò la divisione per progettare soluzioni per il mercato mobile nel 2004. Sette anni dopo si trovava a ricevere ordinativi per oltre 500 milioni unità di system-on-chip per anno, includendo [[feature phone]] e [[smartphone]].
