Novità di questa edizione è la presenza di due direttori artistici per squadra: [[Emma Marrone|Emma]] e [[Elisa (cantante italiana)|Elisa]] per i Bianchi e [[Nek]] e [[J-Ax]] per i Blu. È presente in giuria [[Morgan (cantante)|Morgan]], che a sua volta esprimerà dei giudizi sulle esibizioni, e che se richiesto dai direttori artistici, sostituirà un componente della ''giuria fissa'' come giurato votante. Anche in quest'edizione è possibile usufruire della ''Magic Ball''. <br /> Vengono introdotte la ''Prova Performer'', la ''Prova a tema'' e la ''Prova Morgan''. <br /> Nella ''Prova Performer'' i cantanti, di settimana in settimana, devono cantare mentre si esibiscono in coreografie. <br /> Nella ''Prova a tema'' il quarto giudice, Morgan, sceglie per ogni settimana una prova (di canto o di ballo) che gli allievi devono eseguire su un tema specifico. <br /> Infine, nella ''Prova Morgan'', due componenti delle due squadre scelti da Morgan si confrontano su un brano assegnato dal musicista, che decide se far votare la prova stessa all'intera giuria o a un solo componente.
