Successivamente i due hanno formato un'alleanza sconfiggendo per due volte consecutive i WWE Tag Team Champions del New Day in match non titolati. Nella puntata di ''Raw'' del 7 marzo Styles e Jericho hanno affrontato il New Day per il WWE Tag Team Championship ma sono stati sconfitti; al termine del match Jericho ha effettuato un ''[[Turn (wrestling)|turn heel]]'' attaccando brutalmente Styles. In seguito Styles ha sfidato Jericho ad un match per WrestleMania 32; sfida che è stata poi accettata da Y2J.
