I think we should stick to official controllers. Keep in mind this is only for video game consoles, not PC controllers. :Good call. ;) I assumed that the trigger was a discrete component - so, the total number of "buttons" in that list would be "total buttons.. minus D-Pad and trigger". I guess the distinction - if any - would be whether the trigger is analog or digital. Either way, we may have to check that the other controllers don't need updating to fit the new definition.
