Calsicol messed up when he replied to a comment on Merchbow's talk page, and we see Merchbow amend his signature here [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Merchbow&diff=next&oldid=86724616]. A number of double votes at [[Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 November 4]] have subsequently been stricken out. Both accounts have been around for some time (June 2005 for Calsicol and Jan 2006 for Merchbow) but both have a large amount of edits categorising articles. {{Declined}} Sounds to me like this one is pretty clear, and barring some issue rising from the unspecified deletion discussions, I don't really see where a checkuser is necessary.
