Even the introduction says they are the same concepts. [[User:Syrak\|Syrak]] ([[User talk:Syrak\|talk]]) 11:46, 2 April 2018 (UTC) : The function overloading page talks entirely about object-oriented/procedural concepts of ad hoc polymorphism, whereas Ad Hoc Polymorphism is a term also used in functional programming.
