As a UX Researcher, a lot of the pros and cons of the usability methods listed here are incredibly context dependent. I am not sufficiently convinced that the information provided on this page has done an appropriate job in elaborating on the types of method - the people involved, or how disadvantages such as cost can be re-adjusted to fit the same requirements for the method (with less cost) or combined in one setting. This article either requires citations that show some methods are objectively better or worse than others (and the possible variables), as well as containing examples of methods that may follow on existing method (such as jobs-to-be-done methodology being a derivative variant of an interview and think-aloud).

Lastly, this article appears to be fundamentally rudimentary and limited in how it describes these methods. It does not touch on any product analytics software or methods of quantitative methods which also measure usability, such as heatmaps, click journeys, funnel times or unmoderated prod/dev testing. It would be wise to at least ghost write some of these methods rather than new UX Researchers coming to this page and assuming this list is exhaustive.
