Hi, [http://www.inkscape.org/ Inkscape ver 0.43 (Nov 2005 release)] is a stable open-source release. I haven't use any other packages listed under this article (except for WinTopo Free), so am not in a good position to put comparisions. Would rather like to request if someone can update the tables with Inkscape included.

How about listing the formats they export to? I'm especially interested in software that can export to HPGL/1.
