Once your image is uploaded to Commons or Wikipedia, you will probably want to use it in an article. Fortunately, this works the same way whichever site you uploaded it to. Simply click [edit]{{menu icon|Edit|non}} on the article you want to include the image in, then add the following where you want the image to appear:

For example:

The [[File:OOjs UI icon image-ltr.svg|20px|class=skin-invert|link=|alt=Image icon]] button also works. Notice that the caption can contain links.

You can also place images on the left hand side by including <code><nowiki>|left</nowiki></code>:

By default, images display on the right side of the article. You can also place images on the left hand side of the article by including <code><nowiki>|left</nowiki></code>:
