Sometimes you may want to cite the same reference in multiple places on a page.

InTo thisdo caseso, when you click the {{menu icon|[[File:VisualEditor citoid- CiteToolbar button- (small)citoid citepong.png|55px]]|non}} button, and select the "{{int:visualeditorRe-dialog-reference-useexisting-tool}}use" tab. This will display a list of all the references currently used in the article.

To find the reference you want to re-use, either scroll through the list, or use the "{{int:visualeditor-reference-input-placeholder}}Search within current citations" bar at the top. Clicking on thea specific reference will insert it into the article.
