==Plot==

Radhika Mishra and Samaira Khanna are best friends. Radhika, an easygoing and optimistic young woman from [[Rishikesh]], wants to be a writer. Her grandfather inspires her to live life to the fullest. Saral Joshi is deeply in love with her, wants to marry her.

Samaira is an independent, bubbly, fun-loving young woman who works at Birdsong Advertising Agency in Mumbai. Neil Malhotra, Sam's friend since childhood, also works at Birdsong and is secretly in love with her. Sam has a poor relationship with her mother, Piyali, who blames her for her son Jay's death.

==Plot summary==

The story is about two best friends Radhika Mishra ([[Monica Sehgal]]) and Samaira Khanna ([[Kashmira Irani]]).

Radhika is an amiable and positive-spirited girl from Rishikesh who aspires to become a writer. Her grandfather always motivate her to live her life to the fullest. Her friend, Saral Joshi is an obsessive lover of her and wishes to marry her some day.

Samaira/Sam is an independent and fun loving girl, who works at Bird Song Advertising Agency, Mumbai.

Neil Malhotra ([[Shravan Reddy]]), is Sam's childhood best friend. He is an easy-go-lucky boy who always support Sam. He also works at Birdsong and secretly loves Sam.

Radhika befriends Sam and Neil when they goesgo to Rishikesh forto shoot an advertisement shoot. Radhika helps Sam by giving an instant Tagline forproviding her adwith whena she[[tagline]] landsfor inthe troublead. Seeing her talent, Sam and Neil motivatesencourage Radhika to focus on her writing. careerShe and Saral get engaged; she moves to furtherMumbai and begins working at itBirdsong.

After getting engaged to Saral, Radhika reaches Mumbai to fulfill her dreams and starts working at Birdsong.

Sam gets into a fightfights with her mother and leaves Birdsong. She meets a stranger, Arjun Mehra ([[Aham Sharma]]), who saves her from a dog. ArjunHowever, he is later revealed to be theBirdsong's new head of Businessbusiness operations inand Birdsong, however he has a motivewants to ruinsabotage Sam's life.

After overhearing an argument between her parents, Sam leaves her home while. Radhika's colleagues play a prankpractical joke on her, duecausing her to which she reachesget home late; andher getsrelatives ousted bythrow her relatives in Mumbaiout. Arjun offers Sam with a house,; after which both Samshe and Radhika movesmove into theirit, new house.and Radhika succeeds in mendingmends Sam's relationship with Piyali.

Sam graduallyslowly falls in love with Arjun and proposes to him, which upsets Neil.However Radhika getsbecomes suspicious of Arjun and warns Sam, who later breaks up with Arjunhim. Heartbroken,Sam and Neil goesgo to Lonavla[[Lonavala]] to look for a ___locationshooting hunt___location. Arjun, wanting to sortreconcile thingswith out between themSam, goes to Lonavla to meet Sam buther; Radhika also accompanies him, however, and stopsprevents him from doing so.

AtIn Lonavla, while trying to save Arjun,Radhika meetsRadhika withhas an accident . Arjun takesbrings her to the hospital; and saves her. Radhikashe realizes that Arjun is indeed a good person, and regrets failing to understandmisunderstanding him.

Arjun and Sam patch up. But while pretending to be in love with Sam, Arjun actually starts falling for Radhika, because of her selflessness,loyalty and kindness.

Mala (Radhika's mother) and Saral reaches Mumbai. Sam and Arjun gets engaged.

Arjun and Sam reconcile. Arjun then falls for Radhika, however, because of her selflessness, loyalty and kindness. Mala (Radhika's mother) and Saral go to Mumbai, and Sam and Arjun get engaged.

Later,it is revealed that Nandini ([[Shilpa Saklani]]), Arjun's adoptive sister and an old employee of Birdsong, had been in an extra-marital affair with Samrat Khanna (Sam's father) but he ditched her for his family. Nandini was devastated and suicidal, while ten-year-old Arjun witnessed this heartbreak, leaving him bitter. She seeks revenge from Samrat for her misfortune.

Nandini, Arjun's adopted sister and a former Birdsong employee, had had an extra-marital affair with Samrat Khanna (Sam's father); however, he returned to his family. Nandini was devastated and suicidal, ten-year-old Arjun saw her mental state, and became bitter. She seeks revenge from Samrat for her misfortune.

Arjun's growing love for Radhika makes him guilt-ridden. On realising that Arjun loves Radhika, Nandini manipulates Saral into marrying Radhika sooner, without letting Arjun know. Radhika decides to quit her job when Saral blackmails her. However Arjun advises Radhika to refuse to get married to Saral and focus on her dreams. But when she refuses, Saral tries to marry her forcefully, but Arjun stops the wedding. Radhika develops immense respect and trust towards Arjun, which makes him feel guilty for trying to ruin Sam's life.

Arjun's growing love for Radhika makes him guilty. Realising that Arjun loves Radhika, Nandini manipulates Saral into marrying Radhika without letting Arjun know. Radhika decides to quit her job when Saral blackmails her. However, Arjun advises Radhika not to marry Saral and to focus on her dreams. When she refuses to marry Saral, he tries to marry her forcefully but Arjun stops the wedding. Radhika develops respect for and trust in Arjun, which makes him feel guilty for trying to ruin Sam's life.

Nandini mislead Sam into believing that Radhika is trying to separate her and Arjun. Soon,Radhika finds about Arjun's true motives and tries to save Sam from Nandini's evil plan by marrying Arjun.This puts their friendship at stake.A heartbroken Sam is consoled by Neil.

Radhika finds out that Nandini has plans to kill Sam, but Arjun doesn't know about it. Radhika realises that Nandini had been only using Arjun all this while to seek revenge and satisfy her ego.After learning about Arjun's innocence,Radhika falls in love with Arjun. Radhika somehow brings Nandini's true colors in front of Arjun leaving him shattered. Nandini leaves.

Radhika learns that Nandini plans to kill Sam without Arjun's knowledge, and realises that Nandini has been using Arjun to seek revenge. After she learns about his innocence, she falls in love with Arjun. Radhika shows Arjun Nandini's true colors, shattering him. He tells Nandini to leave.

Radhika decides to go back to Rishikesh, but Arjun asks her to stay.But Since she knows that Sam loves Arjun,she leaves,sacrificing her love for Arjun.
