Born'''Roderick Allen DeArment''' (born [[March 3]], [[1948]].) was Nominatednominated to be [[United States Deputy [[Secretary of Labor]] under President [[George H. W. Bush]] in 1989.

Mr. DeArment graduated from [[Trinity College, Hartford|Trinity College]] (B.A., 1970) and the [[University of Virginia School of Law]] (J.D., 1973).

Prior to his service at the [[United States Department of Labor|Department of Labor]], Mr. DeArment hashad been a partner with a law firm in [[Washington, DC]]. From 1973 to 1979, Mr. DeArment was an associate in a law firm ofin Washington, DC.
