The usage of algorithmic curation has been increasing immensely, Social Media Platforms in 2023 have introduced various new updates to the use of algorithmic curation. Mark Zuckerberg announced during an earnings call that usage of [[Artificial intelligence|AI]]-powered algorithmic curation will be doubled. Platforms like LinkedIn & TikTok are also experimenting with algorithmic curation. This form of curation has changed how creators & businesses can escape social media algorithms<ref> [https://jaskaransaini.com/how-social-media-algorithms-work/]</ref> to reach consumers. An average social media user is more likely to see only highly relevant content. But that relevancy becomes dangerous as if someone is only seeing biased content on their social media feed. Algorithmic curation betters your average social media experience, yet you need to be aware of what you’re seeing and why.
