What is that whole section even doing in this article? While ''some'' dynamic scripting languages adopted closures and higher-order functions like '''map''' much earlier than mainstream static languages like Java, there's nothing fundamentally functional about dynamic languages. The whole article is badly organised and reads as if written by somebody who just copied and pasted random text from web search results.
