It should not be confused with the [[triangular interval]], which transmits the [[radial nerve]] and the Profunda brachii artery also called as the [[deep artery of the arm]].

==Boundaries==

It has the following boundaries:

* Inferior: the superior border of the [[Teresteres major]] inferiorly ;

* Lateral: the long head of the [[Tricepstriceps]] laterally;

* Superior: Teres minor

Unlike the quadrangular space or the triangular interval, no major nerve passes through the triangular space.
