According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township has a total area of 94.6 [[square kilometer|km²]] (36.5 [[square mile|mi²]]). 93.9 km² (36.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.74% water.

As of the [[census]] of [[2000]], there are 261 people, 87 households, and 70 families residing in the township. The [[population density]] is 2.8/km² (7.2/mi²). There are 95 housing units at an average density of 1.0/km² (2.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 70.88% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.00% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 23.37% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.00% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.00% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.00% from other races, and 5.75% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race.
