Scott Walker tribute, Male vocalist, Entertainer.

Mike Powell is recognised as ‘one of the leading tribute acts in the Northwest of England’. Mike appeared on the ITV show Stars In Their Eyes back in 2001 hosted by Matthew Kelly. His performance as the legendary 60's crooner [Scott Walker] has drawn praise from both Walker Brothers fans and ex members of the band.

== Waltz for Debbie (1964) Bill Evans and Monica Zetterlund ==

I love this record, i know it's subjective but I just think the world needs to know what a fantastic thing Bill and Monica has going on.
I feel so lucky to be me when I hear Monicas version of this fantastic summersong, and her interpretations of the wonderful swedish folk songs together with Bill's gentle touch on the piaono; the perfect combination for a swede like me.

== Jack Beeching ==

1922 - 2001

Described as an ex-patriat poet. Born in Hasting England. He served in the Royal Navy and the Fleet Air Arm. His ship was torpedoed and he was seriously wounded. Twenty years later this would play a crucial role in his decision to spend the rest of his life in the Mediterranean south as well as South America. Beeching also lived for a brief period in the United States. In the late 1960s he was appointed to a visiting fellowship at North Dakota State University and promptly found himself accused of awarding superior grades to students desperate to dodge the draft.

In the 1940s and 1950s Beeching developed his skills as poet, writer and reviewer. He became a board member and regular contributor to the high-profile left-wing periodical, Our Time.

He also wrote historical novels under the name James Barbary.
