== Structure ==

The deep transverse metacarpal ligament connectsis thea palmarnarrow surfacesfibrous of the heads of the second, third, fourth, and fifth [[metacarpal bones]]band. It is blendedblends with the [[palmar metacarpophalangeal ligament]]s.
