The last version of Windows to include this subsystem is [[Windows 10]], as [[Windows 11]] (and [[Windows Server 2008 R2]] and later) droppedonly supportrun forthe 32[[x86-bit64]] processorsprocessor in [[long mode]] and therefore cannot run 16-bit software without third-party emulation software (e.g. [[DOSBox]]).
