In a move towards the [[Catholic Church in the Isle of Man]] having a Bishop of its own, in September 2023 [[St. Mary of the Isle Church]] in [[Douglas, Isle of Man|Douglas]] was granted Co-[[Cathedral]] status by [[Pope Francis]].
