Attendance is handled by attendance technicians Alicia Espino, Susan Chacon, and Juanita Garcia, head of the department for over 20 years now. They do their job along side numerous TA's (Teachers Aid) such as Daniel Ibarra, Ileana Madrigal, Jorge Mendoza, Lizett Marquez, Cristian Mercado, and Gilberto Tapia (All graduating seniors this 2007 school year)

On March 27, 2007, Government teacher [[Ruben Pizarro]] led over 300 Alisal High School students on a march from Alisal High School to the [[Cesar Chavez]] Library in an effort to raise awareness of the spike in violence in Salinas since the beginning of 2007. Students were joined by city officials including the city's mayor Dennis Donahue, several city district council members, and the city's Police Chief, Dan Ortega.
