Line 1:
Tom Lehmann has been an economist, programmer, boardgame publisher, game designer, and technical writer.
Cybill was a sitcom that ran on CBS from 1995 to 1998 with Cybill Shepherd in the lead role. The show was regarded as something of an American version of Absolutely Fabulous. Like Absolutely Fabulous, the main character had a disapproving daughter (played by Alicia Witt), and a best friend (played by Christine Baranski) whose heavy drinking, sexy image and self-indulgent behavior provided much of the humor. Shepherd's character was a somewhat faded television actress who, because of her age, had been relegated to playing character roles, bit parts and TV commercials. Unlike Edina Monsoon, the character was somewhat likeable and had some redeeming character traits. For much of the series, her rival for acting jobs was Andrea (played by Morgan Fairchild), who was injured badly when Cybill accidentally shoved her down a hill. Tom Wopat and Alan Rosenberg appeared as Cybill's two ex-husbands.

In comparison to Absolutely Fabulous the content was much toned down, possibly because of self-censorship and to fit better in the US sitcom tradition.

The show got respectable ratings throughout its run, but was abruptly canceled by CBS at the end of the 1997-98 season, amid allegations by Shepherd that the network was uncomfortable with Cybills feminist leanings and frank depiction of female sexuality. Tom has also contributed design ideas to other published games, including San Juan.
The show's theme song was by George and Ira Gershwin's "Nice Work if You Can Get It", in a version performed by Shepherd.

List of episodes
The episode sequence is the same as the broadcast sequence listed on TV Tome. Oh! Oxygen broadcast the repeats using the production sequence. The production sequence matches very well in seasons 1, 2 and 3 but season 4 is very different.

Season 4 was broadcast out of order when it was originally shown by the network. Note that episode 4.21 should have been broadcast immediately before episode 4.13. The network also canceled the show at the end of season 4 and part two of episode 4.24 was never seen.
