Kreacher is a fictional magical creature in the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. He is a house-elf sworn to serve the Black family. Kreacher is currently in the service of Harry Potter and, on Harry's orders, works at Hogwarts with other house-elves.
Characters in the Museum
Blathers
Blathers is the owl curator of the town museum. He accepts donations of bugs, paintings, fossils, and fish. Although he accepts bugs, he does not like them. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, he often offers helpful tips on how to cook and serve fish, tells the player facts about the fish/bug/fossil when donated, and he has a sister named Celeste. His job is made somewhat more difficult by severe entomophobia.

The name Kreacher is probably a pun on "creature". It could also be derived from the German kriechen, meaning "to creep" or "kriecher" that means "groveler".
Brewster
Introduced in Wild World, Brewster is a green-grey pigeon who serves coffee at The Roost, a café in the basement of the museum. If a player chooses, "It's gotta cool", he will be in a state of shock, and demand you drink it imediately until you actually do. If players continue going to The Roost and buy coffee, Brewster will start offering special blends, such as his "pigeon blend", and becoming slowly more talkative. Various characters from the game visit The Roost at various times during the week, at certain times of day.

The family Kreacher served was the "Noble and Most Ancient House of Black". When Sirius Black was the only male member of the Black family left, Kreacher was forced to serve him, staying in the Order of the Phoenix headquarters. According to Dumbledore, Kreacher's existence under Sirius was as miserable as Dobby's with the Malfoy family: in both cases, the elves were treated by the masters with a lack of respect and kindness, were bullied, and denied their dignity.
Celeste
Introduced in Wild World, Celeste is the owl caretaker of the observatory in the upstairs area of the museum, and the sister of Blathers. Players can create constellations, which can be viewed either by looking through her telescope or outdoors at night.

Because Sirius Black had betrayed his mother, Kreacher (who revered Walburga Black) hated him and was not happy working for him. Kreacher seized his chance to leave when Sirius bellowed, "OUT!" He left the house and went to the only member of the Black family still free that he had any respect for: Sirius's cousin, Narcissa Malfoy (née Black), the wife of Lucius Malfoy and the mother of Draco Malfoy.
It has been revealed in the Dōbutsu no Mori film that she is much shorter than Blathers.

Lucius Malfoy, under orders from Lord Voldemort told Kreacher that if Harry Potter were to contact the house by means of the Floo Network, he was to lie and say Sirius was not there. Since Kreacher served the house of Black, he could still take orders from the Malfoys, and as he did not belong to Harry, he could lie to him without having to punish himself. Kreacher later turned up in the attic and Sirius was convinced he had been there the whole time.
Shopkeepers
Tom Nook
The owner of Animal Crossing's main store. He also remodels player's houses once they pay off their current loan. Tom Nook is known home loaner and the player has to pay off his home loan. He is the Owner of the shop in town. While Tom Nook is referred to as a raccoon in English, he is actually a tanuki, a canine native to Japan that resembles a raccoon. Not known to many, Tom Nook once owned a fighting club back in his so called "city days" he grew tired from those days and went to a small forest to live a more peacfull live as a shopkeeper. His name is a reference (Tom Nook = tanuki). Tom Nook is a Gemini.

Kreacher followed Malfoy's plan, and it succeeded. Harry went to the Department of Mysteries to save Sirius, believing him to be in trouble. Sirius Black, who rushed to the Department to help Harry, was killed in the struggle there by his cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange.
Tommy and Timmy
Employees of Tom Nook. Tommy and his brother Timmy, work as salesmen at Tom Nook's shop after the final upgrade to Nookington's. They are may be Tom Nook's nephews, but there is no evidence.

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry discovered that he had inherited all Sirius' possessions; this included Kreacher. This inheritance by Harry, and not Bellatrix (Sirius's eldest living relative, albeit murderer), was confirmed valid when Kreacher obeyed Harry's command to "Shut up." Harry did not want to keep Kreacher, and immediately ordered him to work in the Hogwarts kitchens with other House-Elves. When Harry needed somebody to follow Draco Malfoy to find out where he was disappearing to, he was helped by Kreacher and by Dobby. They came back to him with the important information that Malfoy was going to the Room of Requirement.
Harriet
Introduced in Wild World, Harriet is a poodle who will style the player's hair with the style and color based on the answers to a series of questions. Harriet's salon is only available to the player after they upgrade Tom Nook's store into a department store called Nookington's.

No announcement has yet been made regarding the casting of Kreacher's voice; however, it is confirmed that he will feature in the film..
Mabel Able
References
The porcupine manager of the Able Sisters' shop. She allows visitors to create designs and put them on display. After a design is put on display, villagers might wear them on their clothing. In Wild World, she sells regular clothing, accessories, and headgear and will even purchase clothes from characters.

Sable Able
*http://www.cgchannel.com/forum/viewthread?thread=5635
The elder of the two Able sisters, she is very shy and just sits at a table and sews. If one talks to her every day for 14 days straight, Sable will open up and tell the player interesting stories about the sisters childhood. According to these conversations, Sable is 10 years older than Mable, was her surrogate "parent" or guardian because the sisters' parents died at a young age, and has a dislike of city folk. She tried her best to let Mable have a good life. She has a secret crush on Tom Nook, hinting that they have been friends since childhood. And she also makes the designs you buy from the store.

The Post Office Workers
Pete
Everyone loves good old Pete! The pelican postman of Animal Crossing and a rarely seen character. In Wild World, Pete is seen around 9:00AM or 5:00PM making his deliveries in the sky. He can be shot down from the sky using a slingshot. If the player is playing as a female character and uses the slingshot to shoot Pete down at least 5 times, Pelly will write a letter asking the player to stop. In the Gamecube version, Pete appears in front of the bulletin board at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, the beginning and end of the standard workday. Pete can also be seen rising into the sky after the player gives five letters to the post office to be mailed. Pete has a romantic interest in fellow mail worker Pelly.

Phyllis
es:Kreacher
A purple pelican, the elder sister of Pelly, and the nighttime clerk at the post office. She can be found from 7 PM to 7 AM in the GCN Animal Crossing and from 10PM to 7AM in Wild Worlds Town Hall. Unlike Pelly, Phyllis is rude and usually mutters things under her breath (like grumbling about missing her soaps and groaning about a customer). Phyllis, like her sister, sometimes stops by at the Roost for some coffee before she appears at the town hall that night. She complains about the coffee being too bitter. One of the random conversations the player can have with villagers in Animal Crossing Wild World is that it is rumored that Phyllis is very sweet and caring to Pelly, and that her "mean" attitude is merely an act.

Pelly
nl:Knijster
Pelly is a white pelican, the younger sister of Phyllis. She works at the post office in the daytime and seems to have a romantic relationship with Pete, a pelican postman. She sometimes might sigh, and if the player speaks to her, she talks about Pete. Pelly is very kind and helpful to the player, unlike her sister. Sometimes, if you talk to a villager, they will ask you about the soliloquy (act of talking to oneself) and who did it. Pelly is among of the four choices.
no:Krynkel

sv:Familjen Black#Krake
Tortimer
The town mayor in both Animal Crossing games. An elderly turtle, he spends much of the time asleep in the town hall or near the wishing well. He will leave his normal ___location for special events in the town. He is the source of numerous special event and holiday-themed items for the player. Tortimer's name is a combination of the word "tortoise" and the name "Mortimer". During the acorn festival, he "secretly" changes his name to Cornimer.

The Police Officers/Gate Keepers
Booker
The absent-minded bulldog police officer who runs the lost-and-found. He appears in both Animal Crossing and Wild World. In Wild World, Booker also allows the player to change the design on the town's flag and notifies the player of non-playable characters visiting his or her town (this was Copper's job in Animal Crossing for the Gamecube).
In Wild World, he doesn't seem to understand what anyone says. He also apologizes for almost anything, such as the lost and found being empty, or if he doesn't notice if anyone has recently entered the town.

Copper
An officious dog police officer. In Animal Crossing, he warns the player about upcoming visits from non-player characters, and Wild World, he handles connecting to other players' towns and other Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection tasks. He is also the town aerobics instructor in Animal Crossing for Gamecube.

The Resettis
Mr. Resetti (Resetti)
In Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: Wild World, he appears if the player turns off the game without saving. He becomes irritated if you fail to save your game and appears before you the next time you play and lectures you about turning off without saving. He also plays the part of the town's groundhog when the town celebrates Groundhog Day. Resetti makes small cameo appearances at The Roost in Animal Crossing Wild World. Resetti also has a mohawk in the anime movie of the game.He can be a huge pain so please try to save.

Don Resetti
The more laid back, calmer brother of Mr. Resetti. He apologizes for the rudeness of his brother. On his Animal Crossing-e card, he states that his family gets its name because they come from a long line of re setters. Little is known about him and due to his absence in Animal Crossing: Wild World, it is unknown if he will be seen again.

Special Visitors
Dr. Shrunk
Introduced in Wild World, Dr. Shrunk is an axolotl psychologist who teaches the player emotional outbursts that can be used for player-to-player communication. The first time you meet him, you have to learn shyness. But if you see him again and talk to him, he will ask you how are you doing with your feelings. If you click on "I'm in a slump", then Dr. Shrunk will give you something else (and you can choose what it is.) He comes randomly Monday through Friday, at 6:00 AM to 12:00 pm.

Gracie
Gracie is a fashion-conscious, snobbish, and snooty giraffe who challenges the player to a quiz on Wild World. On the Game Cube, you need to wash her car by taping the A button as fast as you can, and rewards successful players with otherwise-unobtainable shirts. In Wild World, Gracie gives the player a Fashionista Badge after examining his or her clothing, and also sells special pieces of clothing at variable prices if the player continues to speak to her. Depending on your results, you will get a certificate with a personal comment and a rare, but likely worthless shirt. She will sometimes give you a make over. Her real name is Gretchen Grunch.

Gulliver
Gulliver is a befuddled seagull who gives the player rare items from around the world. In Animal Crossing, a sailor-suited Gulliver washes up on the beach, telling stories about a shipwreck. In Wild World, he flies by in a UFO that can be shot down with a slingshot, then the player must reassemble his ship by collecting five cog shaped items from the ground to receive a rare item. His name is in reference to Gulliver's Travels.

Pascal
Introduced in Wild World, Pascal is a wandering sea otter. Taking on the role of Gulliver from the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube versions, Pascal is occasionally found along the beach if you go up to him and talk to him he will give you a sea orientated present and if you give pascal a scallop seashell he will give you a golden axe.
Pascal is much like Gulliver was before. Pascal is a well-known character, and graced the cover of Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Supposedly, the name Pascal is reference to Pascal Blanché, a French-Canadian art director working at Ubisoft's Montréal studio. His style was said to have influenced the art direction and vivid colors seen in the Animal Crossing world.

Rover
Rover is the first non-player character to appear in the Animal Crossing games. Contrary to what his name might suggest, Rover is a cat, not a dog. In the scheme of the series as a whole, Rover is actually a relatively minor character.
In Animal Crossing, Rover appears at the very beginning of the game as a passenger on a train, asks for the time, and asks the player a series of questions which determine their look, gender, and hairstyle. He also arranges for the character's lodging, setting them up with a house from Tom Nook and appears on the train when a player is traveling to another town. In the Nintendo DS version of Animal Crossing, Rover is reduced to making brief and humorous cameo appearances at the Roost, and operating Tag Mode, which allows players to receive anonymous "bottle mail".

Saharah
Saharah is a camel who comes into town any random day from 6 AM to 6 PM. (24 hours or one day) in Animal Crossing and from 6 AM to 12 AM in Animal Crossing: Wild World. In Animal Crossing, she sells the player rare and exotic foreign carpets for their existing carpet along with some money. In Wild World, she delivers both carpets and wallpapers in exchange for the performance of errands. Saharah is named after the Sahara desert. She is also on the cover of Animal Crossing: Wild World. In the Gamecube version, she speaks in a somewhat broken English, while in Wild World, her speech has greatly improved.

Sow Joan
Sow Joan is a boar character who comes to the player's village on Sundays to sell turnips. She is also seen sleeping on the train when the player creates a new character or travels between villages.. Joan sells turnips for a certain price per turnip, which can then be sold to Tom Nook (not on Sunday) for a variable price. However, these turnips go bad in a week or when a player visits another town with a different month. Sometimes, ants or a cockroach can be found on rotten turnips. This system, called the "Stalk Market", is a parody of the real-life stock market. In the same vein, Sow Joan's name is a pun on the DOW Jones index. In the Japanese language, the words for 'stock' and 'turnip' are both pronounced kabu. In Wild World, Joan sometimes sells red turnip seeds which can be planted, cared for, and then sold to Tom Nook for a large quantity of bells.

Wendell
Wendell is a walrus from the Animal Crossing games. He looks like a beggar, and is one too. A wallpaper designer and starving artist, Wendell will trade his patterns with the player (in Wild World only) in exchange for fish among other edibles.. In Wild World, if you put up one of his various patterns for viewing at the Able Sisters' shop, Mabel will mention that it was created by "Wendell from Tuskany", a portmaneau of tusk, referring to the animal, and the city, Tuscany. If you give Wendell a red turnip in Wild World, he will give a special gift.

Scheduled Visitors
Jingle
Jingle is a reindeer. His obligation is to come to visit your town every Christmas Eve to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls (coal to all those bad). Jingle is the Santa figure of the series for he brings everyone in your town a gift for Christmas. The only presents he gives you is the NES game Balloon Fight, every single year.

Jack
Jack is a ghost character who appears solely in the GNC version of Animal Crossing on Halloween night. Everyone will be dressed like Jack and if you talk to any of them and do not give them candy, they will curse you, but you do get a new shirt (tattered shirt). Once you find the one and only real Jack and give him candy you will be saved, but beware for if you have no candy whatsoever you will not receive rare pumpkin furniture.

K.K. Slider
K.K. Slider is a musician who plays music in the coffee shop in the museum (in Wild World only) every Saturday night, from 8:00 PM to midnight. In Animal Crossing, he plays outside near the train. After players listen to K.K.'s music, he hands out a tape recording, which they can play on a radio back at their house. Requesting "K.K. Song" between 8pm and midnight on Saturday nights will lead to the known tune Totaka's Song being played. His real name is Totakeke. His cameo appearance was in Yusef Hamed's song "K.K. Story".

Lyle
Introduced in Wild World, Lyle is a weasel insurance agent with a shady reputation. He comes every Saturday (later every second Saturday) for the player to fill out a questionnaire. If a player clicks, "I'm kinda busy" Lyle will say "You're BUSTIN MY CHOPS! Just BUSTIN THEM!" He sells insurance against fake paintings, accidental falls, spider bites, mosquito bites, and scorpion and bee stings.

His insurance money (100 bells) for sting medicine usually arrives the next day, by which time the player's sting is likely already healed. With fake paintings, his insurance money is the same amount as for stings and falls.

It is somewhat implied that Lyle is working with Crazy Redd. One can even tell Lyle what day of the week Crazy Redd should appear each week.

Sometimes, in everyday conversation, characters mention that the insurance is a scam to get money and the fact that he is a weasel suggests that he does scam the player, due to a weasel being an untrustworthy animal. Also, the name Lyle suggests he scams the player, as in to "lie" sounds like Lyle. Also, if the second "L" is replaced with the "R", you will find the pronunciation of liar. This could be a play on the Japanese L/R mix-ups. The first insurance costs 3,000 Bells, but the second time, it's 6,000 and the third time 12,000 and so on. The only way to avoid buying the insurance is to reset your system, or to not have enough money in your inventory.

Crazy Redd
Redd is a red fox who is an owner of a tent called Crazy Redd's Furniture Emporium. It seems that Crazy Redd does not like Tom Nook at all! This may be a reference to Japanese mythology, in which the tanuki and kitsune are traditionally rivals, however Tom Nook doesn't ever mention Redd, and all of Redd's comments about Tom are indirect, although judging from Redd's comments about Tom Nook, Redd apparently doesn't like Tom. A sly figure, Redd sets up camp on a random weekday in front of the town hall in Wild World or in a random place in town in Animal Crossing. Oftentimes he will sell the player common furniture at high costs, but he may sell furniture that Tom Nook does not sell. He is the main source for purchasing paintings, however he sometimes sells forged paintings, which must be identified by Blathers or Tom Nook. In Wild World, Redd will only sells items to members, and requires that the player say a password to view his shop. After paying a membership fee of 3,000 Bells to Redd, characters may purchase items, and Redd will then send them letters containing the weekly password. <!-- This could use some more cleanup. -->The easiest way to become a member is to talk to a friend who knows what the password is. Once you become a member, he will send you a letter telling you the password every week.Redd may try to rip you off so be careful what you buy from him.

Cornimer
Cornimer is actually Tortimer dressed in an acorn mask during the Acorn Festival. The official strategy guide for Wild World states that Cornimer claims to not have any relation to Tortimer. However, when the player goes into the Town Hall and talks to Pelly or Phyllis, Tortimer does not appear sleeping in the background, indicating that Tortimer is outside disguised as Cornimer. Cornimer is obsessed with acorns and believes, that with proper use, acorns have the power to view the future. He will start to bring the player mushroom themed furniture if given enough acorns, but if given a rotten acorn he will be enraged, and will lecture the player in a similar fashion to Mr. Resetti.

Wisp
Wisp is a mysterious ghost that wanders around town at midnight to around 4 AM. At first, he appears invisible. Then once found, he will appear properly. He will ask the player to catch five other spirits with their net. If this task is completed, he shall reward them by either giving them a gift, painting their roof any particular color, or ridding the town of all weeds in which the player can decide from. He appears exclusively in the Animal Crossing for the Gamecube.

Others
Blanca
Blanca is a faceless cat, for whom the player can draw a new face, which will wash off shortly afterwards. In Animal Crossing, she appears when a user boards a train to another town (she appears randomly and replaces Rover), and in Animal Crossing: Wild World, she randomly appears in the player's town when the player has connected to the Nintendo WiFi network. Blanca will not give you a present; you just design her face.

Kapp'n
Kapp'n is a turtle and a sea captain who specializes in taxiing people. In Animal Crossing, he ferries the player by rowboat to Animal Island, a special area accessed by connecting a Game Boy Advance to the Nintendo GameCube via a link cable, and in Wild World, he drives new players to the town, asking a handful of introductory questions that eventually lead to the player's appearance. In Japan, he is thought to be a "kappa", a Japanese mythological creature. He is incorrectly noted as a parrot in the official strategy guide.

Gruff
Gruff the goat is an anthropomorphic goat in Animal Crossing. He is quite grumpy and always talks in a deep grumbling voice. His catch phrase is "Bleh eh eh!" which is a possible reference to a goat. Gruff prefers to be arrogant and prefers to be left alone and sometimes distances himself from the other animals of the group. He will participate in the events in town. His favorite song playing on the radio in his house is "Only Me" a song sung by K.K. Slider which needs to be requested in order to hear.

movie only characters
Ai
