Ysabella Brave (born December 4, 1979 as MaryAnne Ysabella) is an American vocalist<ref>{{cite web

Videos
On July 14, 2006, Ysabella Brave began to post videos of herself singing on YouTube. Most of her singing is accompanied by prerecorded music tracks, some are sung a cappella. Her collection of songs include blues, jazz, the Great American Songbook, rock, soul, R&B, and pop music, among others, as well as some original music. Her videos are shot in one take, lasting usually from two to five minutes.
After several months on YouTube, Brave became a notable presence. Upon their release, her videos often place highly on the YouTube Most Viewed, Most Discussed, and Top Rated charts, sometimes with several of her videos charting at one time. She continues to be among the most prolific providers of musical content on YouTube and has produced over 90 videos as of June 23, 2007; she adds videos at the rate of about two per week.
Ysabella Brave's second YouTube channel, ysabellabravetalk, was created to separate her music (and more recently comedic) videos from her talking videos, which consist of personal advice for her viewers, in response to those who have written her; the first video on her talking channel was released March 4, 2007. Other video content includes compilations of original artwork, consisting of paintings, drawings, photographs, and other artistic works. Brave's YouTube videos have been viewed more than seven million times and have generated over 1000 response videos.
Contributing to Ysabella Brave's popularity is her strong voice with good range, and her ability to sing a wide variety of genres to the extent that her singing has often been mistaken for lipsynching (that she is not doing so is adequately shown by videos in which she interjects spoken comments during instrumental tracks in what is unmistakably her singing voice). Adding to the content of her videos is her emotional interaction with the music (seen via gestures, facial expressions, and dance moves, all well-suited to the small screen), her spoken dialogue with her viewers, and her willingness to respond to praise and criticism on YouTube, which create for the viewer a sense of apparent intimacy.
Career
Ysabella Brave's popularity took a notable step outside of the confines of YouTube when she was signed as a recording artist for Cordless Recordings, a netlabel of the Warner Music Group, though this has so far had no impact on her YouTube output. She has been written about in the Los Angeles Times<ref>{{cite web
