'''Bill Subritzky''', from [[Auckland]], [[New Zealand]], was a lawyer and property developer from the mid 1950s until the mid 1980s. In 1971 he became involved in the [[Charismatic movement]], and became a well-known independent evangelist and healer in many parts of New Zealand and beyond. His company, [[Universal Homes]], mass-produced homes in standard designs and sold them relatively cheaply. It sold 14,000 homes over the 30-year period of Subritzky's involvement.

Subritzky's [[faith healing]] ministry, Dove Ministries, distributes pamphlets, books, videos etc. of his teaching and his evangelistic healing meetings. He is a [[Charismatic movement|charismatic]] [[Anglican]] but the style of his ministry is more similar to [[Pentecostal]]s such as the late [[Derek Prince]].

Subritzky was a proponent of the [[Toronto Blessing]] and its introduction into New Zealand. He frequently attributes problems, whether physical, spiritual, emotional or psychological, to the influence of [[demon]]s, which he claims to "cast out". He also claims to have insight through the "[[word of knowledge]]" into people's sins, etc., which have made them vulnerable to demonic influence. Concerns have been raised about the possible harm this can do, but his popularity appears undiminished. ==Shock and Awe==

A discussion of whether shock and awe constitutes terrorism is a pretty reasonable thing to expect in the article since these types of criticisms are regularly directed at the doctrine. Obviously the article should contain both sides of the issue. What is unacceptable is the attempt to prejudice the article by including criticism of the Iraq War as a whole that is at best only very loosely connected to shock and awe in particular. :Pretty weak. When I asked the admin to look at the edits to see if they are NPOV, he refused. I think if I was an admin, I would care more if people are making valid contributions to articles as opposed to people who were trying to push POV and then trying to get others in "trouble" by reporting "violations."
